Employment at Ebor
Ebor Computing is based in South Australia with an office
in Western Australia. Candidates for permanent employment
must be:
- Eligible to work in Australia,
- Eligible for defence security clearance, and
- Willing to travel from time to time as necessary.
What sort of people are we looking for?
Graduates
Ebor Computing is expanding and offers interesting careers
to graduate qualified staff.
We require that you have a computing, mathematical, scientific
or engineering degree, and a demonstrated ability to understand
mathematical concepts.
Training will be given but new employees are also expected
to be proactive i.e. go that ‘extra yard’, to
gain applicable skills.
We encourage all of our employees to become conversant with
the application areas relating our existing and emerging markets.
Mostly these are highly technical, but not exclusively so.
Experienced People
Ebor has opportunities from time to time for qualified computing
professionals with more than four years experience. Two avenues
are possible:
- Staff Membership
- Associates, who are self-employed.
Staff members will enjoy the normal benefits of regular employment.
The benefit level will relate to the relative value of the
potential staff member. Part-time may be possible for some
people.
Associates will be either casual or part-time employees,
or registered businesses in their own right. They are expected
to comply with legislation regarding taxation. Typically,
Associates will have a wealth of experience from our market
base. They could be people retired from the public service,
the armed forces or from industry.
Associates may be invited to become staff members if they
wish.
Undergraduates and Graduate Students
Ebor Computing is happy to hear from undergraduate and post-graduate
students seeking work experience, casual or part time work.
We may have opportunities from time to time to offer paid
work that is relevant to computing studies.
