Virtual Maritime System*

Our staff provide a design, development and support role for the Virtual Ship project, lead by DSTO’s Surface Ship Combat Systems group. The Virtual Ship project brings simulation models together, creating a ‘virtual maritime combatant’. The environment is built on the High Level Architecture (HLA) with the Virtual Maritime System Architecture (VMSA) extension. Ebor developed a federate to manage federation execution, designed an architecture for Generic Graphic User Interface development and helped create the VMSA.
